Online event, Tuesday 23rd March, 6-7pm

For care experienced young people in school years 9-13 or college, as well as supporting adults (e.g. foster carers, practitioners, teachers) nationwide

Join Make Happen for the virtual launch of their ‘Future Stars: Setting Your Sights on University’ programme for care experienced students. You’ll be able to find out about the great FREE events on offer in the programme (including one-to-one support and careers guidance, university taster days and a virtual summer school), take part in a Q&A with current university students who are care leavers, and hear from the fantastic motivational speaker Mr Beezy to kick start your journey!
This event is open to attendees nationwide. Many future events in the Future Stars programme are open nationwide too. However, where activities have limited places, students from or living in Essex will be prioritised.
If you’re currently in Years 9–13 or college and you’re in foster care, or have experienced some time in care – or you’re an adult in the life of someone who is in care (e.g. a foster carer, practitioner, social worker or teacher) – then please do sign up to our ‘Future Stars’ webinar by clicking here.
