Are we your charity of the year?
Every year, thousands of care-experienced and estranged young people across the UK leave the system without the support many of us take for granted, no safety net, no accommodation guarantor, no “bank of mum and dad,” no home to return to during the holidays.
At NNECL, we work in partnership with colleges and universities to create supportive environments where our young people can thrive, graduate, and build careers that will sustain them for life.
Support our work and help us transform the progression of our young people into and through further and higher education and onto fulfilling careers.
We are an award-winning UK charity, supporting, connecting, and empowering a community of practitioners who share our overarching ambition: to help more young people from care backgrounds or who are estranged consider, access, and thrive through apprenticeships, further and higher education into fulfilling careers that will sustain them for life.
We do not hold property or endowment funds and receive no core funding from central government. Without generous funders, we simply cannot do our work. We rely on donations from organisations and individuals, alongside income from membership, training and consultancy, Quality Mark assessment fees, and grants, to deliver our life-changing work. Your support helps care-experienced and estranged young people succeed - from enrolment to graduation and beyond.
