Webinar: Taking care of yourself

We at NNECL understand how how passionate the people working with young people often are. We also know how this can lead to certain phases of anxiety, stress and burn out.

Our widely popular webinar 'Taking care of yourself before taking care of others' was facilitated by life coach and former social worker Tamu Thomas (@tamu.thomas) who focuses on nervous system alignment, promoting holistic well-being and addressing the core of workplace stress and the imbalance in emotional and domestic labour.

The session was a introductory session that is developed further in Tamu’s debut book, "Women Who Work Too Much: Break Free from Toxic Productivity and Find Your Joy," (available on Amazon) which touches on the topics of mindfulness, self awareness and maintaining professional and personal boundaries.

Trigger warning as the session also discusses depression.

We hope you found this session as enlightening as we did!
