We're the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers, NNECL, an award-winning, not for profit education organisation working to transform the educational outcomes of young people with experience of being in care. 

By connecting and empowering social care and education professionals, we support care-experienced and estranged young people to reach their full educational potential. Together with our partners, we open pathways into apprenticeships, further and higher education.

Just like their peers, care-experienced young people deserve the opportunity to begin adulthood with a good education and the chance to build fulfilling and sustainable careers.

We are trusted by colleges, universities, and civil society organisations across the UK to ensure care-experienced and estranged young people have the support and opportunities they deserve and need to thrive through post-16 education.

We reach 800+ practitioners and together we support more than 5,000 care-experienced and estranged students.
