Catch 22- Keep Care Leavers Connected are pleased to report that the government has just announced an extension to the data scheme until January 2021
It’s positive we’ve been listened to – but clearly there’s still work to be done on ensuring there is longevity to the scheme, and that care leavers who are without devices can access them
“Data allowances were initially set to remain active for 6 months, but routers received during the 2020 summer term have had data on them extended until the end of January 2021. We are working on extending the data on all routers to the end of July 2021 and will update this page with any developments.”
