Policy on the Horizon: Policy Developments in Children’s Social Care and Education
This webinar will be led by Richard Crellin, co-lead of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation’s Leaving Care Learning Programme.
Richard has worked in children's social policy for over a decade supporting research, policy work, public affairs, co-production and campaigns activities across areas like social care, health, education, child poverty, immigration, youth services and youth justice. He was at The Children's Society from 2014-2021 and now works as a freelance consultant. The co-delivers the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation's Leaving Care Learning Programme, is an Associate at the Centre for Mental Health, and provides policy and participation support for the Migrant and Refugee Children's Legal Unit, alongside ad hoc work for other organisations. He volunteers as an Independent Visitor for children in care and is a co-opted advisor to the Trustees of Tutors United.
