In my role working within the Priority Groups team in UCL’s Access and Widening Participation Office, one of the groups we seek to work with is care experienced students. We run activities specifically for this audience and NNECL helps us to promote these to this hard-to-reach group by listing our events on its website. In turn, we also signpost to the NNECL website on a page we have specifically for care experienced students.

UCL is proud to be a member of NNECL and various colleagues from across the institution regularly attend NNECL meetings and webinars, which act as a valuable platform to bring together practitioners to share best practice and help keep us informed about sector updates. The Members’ Area of the NNECL website is a useful hub of resources.

We look forward to continuing our work with NNECL in the future.
