Going to university meant meeting more people who understood me, making new friendships and being accepted.
To me success is never giving up, any small achievement is still a win, especially when you have your peers cheering for you.
With the education I got from university I feel able to move forward in my life, it has gave me the courage to aim even higher.
I hope the things I learned in my studies will prepare me for whichever career I pursue in the future, the connections I made along the way have opened doors to amazing things and I’ve met amazing people in the process too.
When I first went into care I felt like hiding myself away from others, like I didn’t belong. But meeting all these wonderful people has made me see my true worth, I will be grateful always for the time I shared with each of them. I know I have made friends for life.
