UCAS is delighted to work closely with NNECL to support care-experienced students making their decisions about higher education. NNECL has helped us to shape our student-facing content, our teacher toolkit, and our good practice for HE providers, making sure they are accurate and comprehensive.
Last year, NNECL supported our report Next Steps: What is the experience of students from a care background in education?, offering valuable insight and context for the data. As we continue to implement the report’s recommendations, develop our apprenticeships service, and enhance our information and advice, this relationship will only become more valuable as we grow our network of experts and professionals working with these students – and work together to close the information gaps.
